What is my worth?

It is difficult to define without losing all that Remuneration stands for; Entitlements, added value, non-monetary, monetary, benefits, experience and the list goes on.

Basically, You and I are of some value and we are to add to this value with whatever we choose to do in a position of “F**k You” (Excuse the language, I never swear but it’s a quote from a video we showed in our presentation).

The more and more we delve into the topic there is a vast amount of information out there that we can (as students, employees and..employers?) use to our benefit. It’s not a simple thing… this package, this salary, this wage. It’s represents the values that employers uphold, the time spent, product achieved, the rise and fall of the economy, government policy, and many more things that are not as tangible as figures that come after the dollar sign.

Bottom line is; I’ve just presented on Remuneration and boy I am glad that I have not yet entered into the world of professional full time work without this knowledge.

Interesting article on Forbes about smart salary negotiation. Remuneration is handy.
